Solventless made concentrate gets more and more popular. In our latest YouTube video, we show you products from the Barcelona-based company Qnubu which has dedicated itself to developing and manufacturing the best possible products for solventless extraction. We also have a contest; watch the video to enter.

WHAT YOU NEED

In short, all you need is your material, a rosin bag, extraction paper, and a press. But there are of course things that will make the extraction process both easier and better.

You start with a ROSIN BAG that can withstand high heat and pressure. You fill the bag with your flower material and press it between your fingers to spread it as evenly as possible. A PRE-PRESS MOLD makes this process easier, creating a pack of the same thickness so that temperature and pressure are applied equally to all parts during the pressing. When your packed bag is ready you place it between the EXTRACTION PAPER that will catch the pressed-out rosin. You can use regular parchment paper for this, but we recommend a paper that has been specially designed for the purpose and is pressure- and tare-resistant with non-stick silicone coating on both sides.

And then there's the press. We have three different kinds of ROSIN PRESSES: 'Manual' that is hand-powered and hand-cranked with muscles strength, 'Hydraulic' that is powered by hydraulic pressure and cranking a handle and 'Pneumatic' that is powered by an air compressor and pushing a button. Which press you choose all comes down to preferences.

All of our presses are easy to use, you can pretty much plug it in, choose pressure/time/temperature, and start pressing. The choice of time and temperature is equally important during the extraction since they will determine the taste of your finished concentrate. Different material needs different temperature, so you might need to do some tests to get the best result. The thing to remember is that time and temperature are each other's counterparts; higher temperatures mean shorter pressure time, and lower temperatures mean longer pressure time.

Using a rosin press is safer than using hazardous and flammable chemicals, but keep in mind that nothing is without risk when you work with machines. Keep your hands away from the hot press plates!

AFTER THE PRESSING

When the pressing is done it's time to take care of your rosin. We recommend using a cool surface, like a chilled dab mat, and a dabber to collect the concentrate into a suitable storage jar.

It's of course Your preferences that decide if you use a DAB RIG or a CONCENTRATE VAPORIZER to enjoy your rosin. We are sure you can find the perfect rig or vape just for You in our range of products. And if you feel like doing your own e-juice from the concentrate you can do so with the help of a liquidizer like TERPS USA or WAX LIQUIDIZER.
